The area is located in the northern part of Ljubljana, bounded on one side by the Sava River and on the other by Dunajska cesta. It has a very good strategic location, as it lies in the central part of Slovenia, between the center of Ljubljana and Ljubljana Airport, the central Slovenian airport. In addition, it is located between dense urban development in the south and larger green areas (forest, fields) in the north, which represents the advantages and potentials for further development.
The building plot is located in a centuries-long, historically significant location in Ljubljana. This historic location is known for its diverse population and long history and it was first time mentioned in 1359. Not only the Romans were settled in Ljubljana, in 18th century there was also an important transit route from Vienna to Trieste and to Rijeka. During all this time, Ježica district and the lagoon were used as a holiday resort with a beach on the Sava River.
